Baker Construction & Development, alongside Wolfe Architectural Group, provided their proven experience to this GSA project. This 10,000 square-foot, government office facility had to meet requirements for LEED Certification for commercial interiors and EnergyStar performance. High performance wall and roof construction was utilized to maximize energy conservation.
This new building houses administrative offices, two high-level security investigation/interview rooms, conference rooms and training areas. The interior detailing required special construction considerations, including limiting sound transmission and Level III bullet resistant glazing, doors and partitions. All access points are CCTV monitored; and forced entry protection is provided with security screening and blast resistant film on exterior windows. The complex also includes a 30-foot defendable perimeter.
