Baker Construction & Development teamed up with Wolfe Architectural Group to design and build this new 21,000 square-foot multi-purpose facility. The Military Entrance Processing Station is a Department of Defense joint service organization staffed with military personnel, as well as, civilians. Their job is to determine an applicant’s physical qualifications, aptitude and moral stance for service as set by each branch of military service, the Department of Defense and Federal Law.
The building houses medical exam rooms, laboratories, x-ray, physical fitness, administration and ceremonial facilities. This project has received a LEED Gold Certification by the United States Green Building Council due to a ground source heat pump, daylight harvesting and energy management.
