Baker Construction & Development was the contractor of choice to construct a new 81,330 square-foot, two-story, concrete tilt-up and glass curtain wall office building for Comcast Cable. The $7 million facility in Liberty Lake’s Meadowwood Technology Campus provided 750 jobs and created additional positive economic impact to the greater Spokane area.
Comcast officials chose the Spokane area for one of three new customer service centers. The others are in Albuquerque, NM and Tucson, AZ. The new Spokane center is the largest of its kind for Comcast. The facility houses departments for customer service, human resources, sales, training and management.
