Successfully completing the fifth remodel project listed on “The Spokane Register of Historic Places” in eighteen months, Baker Construction & Development transformed the first and fourth floor of the 1890 building two weeks ahead of schedule! Originally the Spokane Chamber of Commerce Building in 1891, Baker Construction & Development carefully transformed the suite that housed a men’s clothing store on its ground floor for over ninety years into a modern financial center. Exclusively brick and featuring a Romanesque theme, utility upgrades and infrastructure items were installed to support new office spaces, conference areas and bank branch areas. Some of the region’s finest carpenters were tasked in keeping the original craftsmanship and architectural heritage of this landmark building.
