Blockhouse|Life is a progressive housing community focused on developing smart, passive, compact, and affordable modular living communities. A major component of the Blockhouse story is Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), an eco-friendly, large-scale, prefabricated wood panel. CLT is lightweight yet strong and offers superior fire, seismic, and thermal performance. As a sustainable building material, CLT helps build a brighter, more sustainable future.
This project consists of 8 studio, 2 one-bedroom, and 4 three-bedroom apartments. Every Blockhouse is completely modular, allowing for the creation of safe and affordable housing with minimal site disturbance. The flexible and adaptable modular design makes nontraditional build sites a perfect match for Blockhouse|Life. Engineered as a fully integrated system for the entire human experience, Blockhouse|Life delivers an efficient, low-impact assembly and easy installation without compromising high performance, revolutionizing the housing and construction industries.
