This 15,000 square-foot advanced vehicle maintenance facility is a pre-engineered metal building with an office wing and two mezzanine structures. Energy efficiency played an important role when developing this building, which includes radiant floor heat via a high efficiency boiler system and two heat recovery units for air exchanges.
The facility houses two overhead bridge cranes: a 1-0-ton crane designed into the building structure with two 5-ton hoists and a 5-ton independent bridge crane. For small vehicles, the building houses a 1/4 ton jib crane, two in-ground 60,000lb vehicle lifts, a 90,000lb vehicle lift and two 18,000lb pickup lifts. This facility has high lift overhead doors and a complete vehicle exhaust system. The hose reel system with air, water, hydraulic fluid, motor oil, tractor oil, anti-freeze and gear oil is plumbed to four locations within the facility. Approximately 5.5 acres of the site was developed and paved. For security, a 16-foot automatic tilting gate and an automatic sliding gate were installed.
