In the busy downtown area of Pullman, WA, managing the logistics - material deliveries and construction site traffic, for example, takes on a new level of complexity in the face of rush-hour traffic and sidewalks full of people.
This 174,625 sq. ft. 5-story mixed-use student housing project had a footprint that bordered all four property lines presenting a strict right-of-way limitation to crane swing and material storage. Good collaboration also included making project partners out of neighbors and local governmental agencies. Construction included 3 levels of wood framing over 2 levels post tension concrete. Eighty-two 1-5 bedroom unit mix with 8,000 sq. ft. of main level retail and 112 parking spaces on both levels.
